CLCID is continuously working to increase awareness that Interior Design is a
professional practice with high standards of competence and credibility.
CIDPAC (The California Interior Design Political Action Committee) needs your help! By making a contribution to
CIDPAC, you are investing in your future to practice interior design. Through CIDPAC, you can participate in
electing public officials who understand the complexity of the interior design profession.

- WHAT IS A POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE? CIDPAC has been in existence for many years and even pre-dates CLCID. It was established to contribute funds to political candidates who are supportive of the interior design profession in California. The PAC gives interior designers the opportunity they need to be directly involved in helping elect candidates and informing the Legislature of interior design issues.

- WHY SHOULD YOU CONTRIBUTE TO CIDPAC? By giving
your donation to CIDPAC you are investing in your future to practice interior design. CIDPAC will help elect poltical candidates who understand and support the interior design profession
. By contrituting to CIDPAC you will be aiding in the election of California legislators who are concerned about the interior designer's right to practice and who understand the professional
service we provide to the public, corporations and to government.

- WHAT IS THE PROFESSION DOING? California Chapters of the professional interior design associations have generously donated to CIDPAC. These donations will help, but the PAC is a long way from reaching its goal.
